Lagoon Triggerfish

The Lagoon Triggerfish, Rhinecanthus aculeatus, lives in tropical and subtropical waters throughout the world. Its striking blue and yellow stripes are the focus of our gorgeous print.

The Hawaiian name for the fish is humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, which means “triggerfish with a snout like a pig.” This name is shared with the Reef Triggerfish, the state fish of Hawaii.
